Lloyd Brooks has over twenty-five years experience in the areas of educational and editorial publishing, corporate communications, identity systems design and packaging. His work has appeared in the Mead Top 60, the Society of Publication Designers Annual and has won numerous local, regional and national awards. Lloyd is a former educator at Indiana State University and has served as creative director at several advertising agencies.
Lloyd is VP of Corporate Communications for Marketing Informatics and founder and creative director of Thrive3, the creative services division of Marketing Informatics. The firm provides excellence in graphic design, strategic planning and direct marketing for corporations, institutions and foundations around the country. Thrive has worked extensively with corporate clients as well as with such community-minded organizations as the Indiana Historical Society, Arts Council of Indianapolis, Indianapolis Art Center, Habitat for Humanity, Indiana State Museum, Texas State Historical Association and Indiana Foster Care and Adoption Association.
Lloyd was a member of a contingent as part of a cultural and professional exchange on design and architecture in the Soviet Union. He was also a partner in a joint venture in Taipei, Taiwan for several years with an office specializing in package design and production in home electronics products.
Mr. Brooks has been a past president of the Art Directors Club of Indiana and has been involved in such professional organizations as American Institute of Graphic Arts, Society of Publication Designers, Society for Graphic Designers International and Indianapolis Gestalt Institute.
Mr. Brooks attended Purdue University, School of Engineering and graduated from Indiana State University Education with a degree Bachelor of Science, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Indiana State University, 1972. His graduate studies were also in graphic design at Indiana State University, 1972-73. He also trained with the Gestalt Institute of Indianapolis, 1996-1998. Mr. Brooks has been on the advisory board for Ivy Tech Columbus for the past several years.
