Marketing Informatics trademarked this tagline as a way to start explaining the kind of work we do. When the process started, Mi was a smaller company; we didn’t yet have a creative services team or printing company. But the foundation of the organization was there and is the same: use the client’s database, analyze it to see exactly what those customers look like, and find more who are just like them. That’s the idea behind the “information” part of the phrase. “@work” is putting your own information to work for you. That’s where the origins of the smaller Mi and the newer, broader company really come into play. You have the information, so let’s find more people just like your most valuable customers – that’s data acquisition. Now, what really makes those customers tick and how can we use that to your advantage? Creative services. And how do we get that new message to them? Print and mail.
